Photo - "Colby Tutt was born September 14, 2002 at 27-weeks 1 pound 3 ounce preemie. He spent 4-1/2 months hospitalized NICU at Harris Methodist Hospital in Ft. Worth, TX. Colby was not expected to live because of serious issues that were diagnosed by medical professionals." "These issues included bowel obstruction, incarcerated left inguinal hernia that had to be repaired. In addition to 2 inches of small bowel resection with end-to-end anastomosis. He had respiratory distress syndrome, chronic lung disease, heart murmur, sepsis (several times while in NICU), pneumonia (several times while in NICU), anemia, thrombocytopenia, cranial ultrasound that showed neurodevelopmental delay, problems with ileus, jaundice, hyperbilirubinemia, renal failure, hypothyroidism and retinopathy. With all of these life threatening issues Colby and his family fought for his life. No one gave up on this tiny boy." "Colby is 13 years old now with a complex chronic medical condition that has resulted in numerous surgeries because of his complications from birth. Colby is a miracle child who is still fighting for his life. Colby’s life, along with his family has been turned upside down due to accusations from The State of Texas. If you are reading this I urge you to pray for Colby and the Tutt family."
