That question has no easy answer because of the way I love Jake. In one respect I am so grateful to know he is not being exploited or abused. Having said that I now say this; it is intristically wrong to deprive a child of his family of origin. It is immoral. It is self serving. It's is a direct violation of the Constitutional right of the child to have his ethnic, biological and religious heritage...by a direct interference of the law of the land. Am I grateful? That he is OK....yes. That it came at the cost of the destruction of my life and happiness.....HELL NO!
