When a 14 year old in Alabama got pregnant CPS stepped right in and removed the teen from her home while alleging the parents were guilty of neglectful supervision due to the pregnancy. The teen is a young woman now who manages her own responsibilities by holding down a job and maintaining her own apartment however CPS has refused to give her the son she bore and hasn't released her from the foster care roles.
There are a good deal more atrocities committed in this case but we have a few questions regarding what we've written about here.
1- Is it not a fact that teens ALSO get pregnant in foster care?
2- Is the system responsible for being neglectful of supervision when this happens in foster care?
3- If the young mother is living on her own why is she still on the foster care roles?
4- Is the state committing fraud by keeping her on the foster care roles in order to attain funding for her?
5- Why hasn't her son been returned to her?
