As a kick off to Child Abuse awareness month in April, we are relaunching #BlueBalloon.
This is a worldwide event, that anyone can take part in.
We are asking for everyone to tie a blue balloon outside your home, in your home or garden for the whole of April. (please do not release the balloon)
Raise awareness for the victims and survivors of child abuse.
Unite together against child abuse.

Worldwide, each year, 40 million children are subjected to child abuse.
On average between 5 & 6 children die as a result of child abuse.
1.8 million children are subjected to prostitution and pornography.
1.2 children are victims of trafficking.
Suicide is the third leading cause of death.
240 Million children between the ages of 5 and 14 were involved in child labour.
1.2 billion children are living in poverty.
Each day 35,500 children under 5 die of preventable diseases.
65%!o(MISSING)f school age children have reported being verbally or physically bullied.
We are asking you to help us raise awareness, either by tying a blue balloon outside your home and/or workplace.
Some other ideas....
*Tie a blue ribbon/balloon around lampposts.
*Put up blue child abuse awareness stickers around your local town.
*Make posters/banners/flyers and place them around your area.
