#OpExposeCPS This case unfolding in Alabama has caught the attention of many people, the story of the 14 year old mother allegedly raped and her child seized after the birth of her healthy baby. The family of this young mother spoke with media sources shortly after the birth of the baby and concerns of the threat by DHR to remove the child from the grandparents custody along with the newborn. During the interviews with the mother and family, pictures were shared of the mother and child shortly after birth. In the short days following the birth of the infant, DHR seized the newborn, her mother and the young mothers brother despite the approval on the home assessment of the grandparents. Alarmed at the situation as it unfolded, many activists and two online news sources made an appearance at the hearing for the family and the young mother. They were dismayed to discover they were being sued for pictures shared prior to the seizure and state custody of the child, by the newborn represented by the newborns' guardian Ad Litem, Erin Welborn. Now imagine, how could that young mother feel right now? Her child has been taken from her, as she tried to do the right thing, and she has been placed in isolation in the system foster care group home, her brother's location unknown, ordered to not speak to the public in court and last but not least, named in a lawsuit against you filed on behalf of your week old infant.
