As the relationship with my daughter went through the state mandated alienation process of seeing her every day at home, to every other weekend, to supervised visits at a restaurant once a week to supervised visits every other week in the filthy jail cell at the DCS building.. to sitting in jail for noncompliance with impossibly contradicting demands.. to the completely unjustified termination of my parental rights.. There wasn't a single time that my daughter didn't push the case worker away and run to me at first sight with open arms, bright eyes, and and a laugh of joy that told me, for just that one moment, everything was right in her world. She was 3 years old. The case worker took that personally. She didn't like me. She had all the power. And she resorted to selective observances, endless lies, and misrepresenting everything to assert that power. What does it do to a child to take away such a strong source of stability and inspiration? Throuought the entire process of watching her slowly disappear into the fog of greed and corruption, I spoke out about the new instances of physical and psychological abuse that she was being forced to endure. The visits cancelled at the last moment for no reason? Probably beaten too bad a day before? Probably unconscious from being doped into compliance because nobody wanted to hear her crying for her father. Emily Sorrell in Smithfield, NC. was the case worker. She hid her endless lies behind self granted immunity and destroyed my daughter for nothing other than a promotion and a commission check. She put the abuser on a pedestal and swept the obvious patterns of behavior under the rug because they didn't suit her personal agenda. Somebody held a lighter to my daughters face and this case worker tried to play it off as a bug bite. The truth was buried in an updated case plan that no judge ever saw. I lost absolutely everything fighting that fight. That little girl is my entire world. It's hard to find the strength to breathe. It's even harder to resist the temptation to become everything that maliciously jaded case worker falsely claimed I was. The most dangerous person is one with nothing left to lose? So, who's best interest got served? The abuser got the child. The system got the money. The stable parent was reduced to rubble? And, all of it was intentional. It was planned. It was deliberate. It was premeditated and carried out step by step through a insanely twisted court process that GUARANTEES victimization of the innocent. "You are not a good parent because I don't like you.. and I will spend endless money discrediting you, I will make your life hell, I will take your job, your pride, your freedom. I will pay psychologists to rewrite their findings based on my beliefs.." How can any mere mortal be heard within such a powerful opposition of thunderous deception? There's a reason these court procedures don't have open doors or allow any recording. What happens in these court rooms of "child protective services" is beyond despicable. They staple a price tag on the heads of children. They destroy the loving parents ability to pay that price. They hand endless support to the child's abuser. They place impossible demands on whoever they are biased against, then say if they only tried a little harder to comply, the results may have been different. Dangling carrots in front of starving rabbits to promote compliance with their ridiculousness.. because they have set up the case plans to ensure compliance pays them all the highest amount possible. Regardless of the damage done in the process. It's senseless torture. All of it. The psychological abuse is beyond maddening. And, the different components of the system that conspire to destroy healthy relationships - for profit - .. they are the perpetrator. It is so ridiculously obvious. There's a reason these court sessions fly under the radar. The sheep can't handle the truth that the government is targeting them. It's easier to believe the propaganda of foster care being a last chance of salvation for unwanted youth than it is to accept that these children had so much better of a life ahead of them if the courts didn't tie them to the railroad tracks for federal reimbursements.
